Considering the staff grows heavier the more magic it gets its grubby handle on, pulverizing whatever its smacked into is actually quite reasonable. And, no need to bother with fireworks on festivals. just put up some magic-filled stuff and let him smash it to dust.
Page looks beautiful, and yeah, that is an awesome staff.

(Seriously I think you could make wallpaper versions of all three panels. I’d assume the first one with the cracked look just without the staff, second one (maybe) hide Phil from it, and the third….same as the second, really, though definitely the bubble. Those sparks are just gorgeous, in all three panels.)
