I think the ride is messed up with his head. Is there a way to cure this?

So Kate knows that Phil has this reaction but she emotionally guilts him into getting on the ride anyway instead of going on the ride he wanted to enjoy with her…. I’m really starting to view Kate as an extremely abusive person in regards to Phil. Been starting to think this for a while from how she treats him.
I hardly think Kate expected this reaction. Maybe screaming or crying like a kid, but not whatever happened here. Kate is in no way abusive towards Phil.
