THAT WAS ME IN PSYCHOLOGY CLASS IN HIGH SCHOOL! You should ahve seen me when we were studying about sleep. True story, too. I fell asleep every class during that subject, passed with flying colors.

Emi is making herself look bad here. If she stopped focusing on what Blue was up to, she’d do a lot better. Could it be she’s actually attracted to Blue and conflicted about it? (Probably not, but one never knows…)
Emi has always had a short fuse and being young, not very patient, remember, she’s pretty young for a Magi and generally the only people who become Magi when it works normally are those who are the most powerful in the blood line. Pretty much everyone knew Emi would become the Magi of Power if the other one died.

neither emi or blue are perfect in the meditation biz, but so far, blue’s doing better, which is kinda sad because she’s doing this for fun and not to master a power that could kill a person from the inside if left unchecked.
Probably all the extra brain activity from having such a high attunment to electricity. Neurons and all that.
