Oh… PCs. When I first read it, my mind went to “How does one ‘buy’ a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and why does he need four of them?” My brain went into US Army mode for a moment. 🙂
One for Phil and one for Kate. 2 backups kept elsewhere in case of celestial sword rain or similar destructive events.
And here I was thinking 2 each–one for everyday use, one as backup for when the first is in the shop. That’s how I would do it if I weren’t stealing my roomie’s whenever he’s asleep or out shopping…
….phil isn’t using someone else’s credit card to purchase items for personal use identity theft and a couple of other crimes too
It’s a call back to where Shiden gave them a card to use to cover repairs and replacements from their apartment getting wrecked in the first place.
okay I don’t think he would do well if something regarding legal proceedings would occur but if the call back is also about him fixing the apartment then wait did he only stop at 4 computers I don’t remember?
I got the impression that Phil went and bought a whole bunch of stuff with the hazard pay he and Kate got from their last mission. Whether it was all household necessities that the two of them would need or a bunch of fun stuff off Amazon (or their world’s equivalent) was never made clear, but I suspect it was probably a combination of the two.
okay pretty sure everything was wasted on con stuff like cosplay tickets ect. and nothing was used for necessities that doesn’t come from normal day jobs
