Well, Phil has quite the advantage with his physical invincibility. Still, I’m interested to see where this leads.

Yeah, so she probably won’t kill him. But he has standard human strength, whereas she’s a robot built for combat. She could fairly easily get him in to some form of hold and make him hurt a LOT. Or, you know, strangle him, block off the blood flow to his brain in some other way….

Okay, color me confused What, exactly, did she figure out?

Well he does actually have a weakness, even when blind. You just have to make plenty of noise, so he assumes you’ve hurt him, if he flinches the invincibility won’t completely kick in. Basically aim for the face, so his eyes still register the hit, make loud slapping sounds, and he will still go down with a stinging cheek.

It’s kind of funny how his power will let him get knocked around and feel something if he knows it’s coming because he expects that to happen, since he’s just used enough to sci-fi stuff that since it happens to invulnerable characters there he expects it to happen to him. When his power knows he’s not aware though it exerts its full power and completely nulls the attack so that he won’t even notice it happened.

I’ve had one hell of a year (and some) but I finally caught up! So happy to see this comic is still going 😀
Although… I got a bit confused with the copyright year and the comic ID, they overlapped during the holidays… 😛
I’m curious to see how this develops, I remember the day Phil fell out of a window and knew he was going to die (probably) then didn’t… That always bothered me since this seems to go against the current canon way his power work, but I’m totally fine with “his power wasn’t well defined back then”. 😉
I like your story building and your characters, keep up the good work, Sage.
