Eldritch horrors disappear when he touches them. Moms don’t.
Unless they are eldricht horrors.
That would only make them less scary.
Dealing with eldrich horrors is easy, you just dissipate them.
Dealing with moms is hard, you might have to talk with them.
Beware the dreaded polite conversation!
This page reminded me of the ending of Asura Cryin. The two girls ask the protagonist who he wants to be with. He of course, being the typical anime protagonist, can’t decide.
“You’d think after saving the world choosing a girlfriend would be easy!”
Don’t remember the exact wording, but that’s about what it boiled down to.
I just had a thought about the null powers. It protects him from physical damage, both mundane and magical, by removing the effects it would have on him, but what about emotional damage (such as being yelled at by a parent who took this situation the wrong way)? Would it try to protect him, and if it did, how would it try to do that?
Well how would you react to the fact one of your daughters got possessed by some eldrich horror entity and even though has been exorcised, has not awaken yet? Let alone if you were a mortal with no knowledge of all this kind of stuff, let alone unsure what to do or how to react to this situation?? A mothers concern is far greater than anything in the known universe.
He is incapable of messing up a fight with an outsider.
He is more than capable of messing up a talk with a worried mother.
