working with glowy liquids without lab coat, protective gloves, mask or at least glasses?

given that those seem to be a liquid form of magic, i don’t think protective gear would help avoid anything bad those would probably cause

You misunderstand, it’s not simply for protective purposes, just think about it. Kate dressed as a sexy scientist, mixing dangerous magical liquids, being all hot as a magic scientist… as a MAGISIST!
…Damn you over-active imagination, now I’m going to be obsessing over magisists for the rest of the week.

i believe alchemist would be a more accurate terminology, after all they were among other things known for their research into transmutation (which arguably is what Kate is learning currently) though she could probably still have a sexy lab outfit as an alchemist.

Gah! Every time I lose track of a small detail in a particular plot track, I must work my way backwards up to 50 pages to find small sections featuring the right characters, then trying to find the explanation in each of them. That’s what I get for reading a continuously updating comic instead of starting at the beginning and reading all the way through without interruption.
And that’s even though you’re the laser printer of comic creation.

Focus (on) Kate (‘s chest) seems like an appropriate title for the page indeed. Then again, there aren’t many pages -without- some form of gigantic fan service. Not that I’m complaining mind you. 😛

I wouldn’t call this fanservice in particular – that’s just Kate’s… ahem… normal physique.
In my opinion, it’s only fanservice if it stands out from the rest. It’s only dirty because you made it dirty.
Still hot though. Just not really any more than any other time.

After all- she’s wearing a t-shirt. Now if I had her doing this in a bikini, or in her underwear- or in the nude using the vials to obscure her nipples- THAT would be fan service of the super blatant variety. I guess she could wear a sports bra more though. But then people might complain even more about her breast size changing even though sports bra’s are like magical bra’s of holding.

I still think it’s a baaad idea taking (al)chemistry lessions from a chaos creature/being (being a christian I don’t think the term “demon” applies to these buggers at all, kidna how lazy westerners translate “oni” as “demon”, when onis can be basically anything as simple and generic as a troll or ogre, which is in a way similiar to scandinavian(where I’m from) folklore, so I kinda relate to those mistranslations). I jsut have this nagging feeling penpen is just doing this for his own amusement or out of boredom, which of niether can be good :S

Sorry to point out your ccs(was that what you called it?) but if you compare kates, well, “sizes” throughout the frames, you can see it shrink on the second one, and then being bigger than the first within the last to :3
I know you said you wanted a chart done by the end of the year, but perhaps it’s something worth skethcing on, from time to time, whenever you have free time from studying/drawing/working(or whatever you do besides the comic). IF you have free time. othewise, i think it might be a good idea to try whenever you get artist’s block, or soemthing like that? :3

I don’t think this one is nearly as bad as the others XD For the most part she’s roughly the right size and it doesn’t change NEARLY as much as it did- but yeah- some are a bit off.
The reason no breast chart has been done yet is because- I don’t have much free time- ever! I work, I have several projects going on at all times, I update 3 days a week, and every non-update day I’m still working on the comic by writing scripts and often sketching them days ahead of their update. The book right now is really killing my time now. I usually take a break with an hour or two of playing a game like Guild Wars 2… I haven’t played that in over 2 weeks and even when I did, it was only ever for 30-40 minutes. Then right back to comics and book work.
Also, I don’t get artist’s block. Not really, if I ever have trouble with something I have practiced techniques to get over it- so I may get frustrated- but nothing stops me from drawing except work and sleep (and sleep has to try really hard!). However, once the book is done I am going to try and give myself some free time and hopefully, start project boobs don’t magically grow unless magic is making them magically grow. *Wise nod*
