It is nice that she thinks the new bed is comfortable, but she has not used the bed for its secondary function yet (some will consider this the primary function, but they are wrong).

It’s not really a “marriage only” thing for them – it’s just if it happens or if it has already happened- doesn’t actually matter and won’t be a focus of the story at all.
