The comic is almost 20 years old, and I am still making Anime jokes that not everyone will get. This one is a double whammy too with AT Field (Absolute Terror Field) and Absolute Territory- being 2 different weeb jokes. For anyone curious- and I know there is at least one such person out there, Absolute territory is a joke term for the exposed leg between the bottom of a skirt and the start of the stockings. Absolute Terror Field is from Neon Genesis Evangelion, and funny enough, is the powerful barrier used by the “Angels” trying to destroy the world. So- Celestials use AT-Fields 😛

I got the Neon Genis Evangelion reference and knew about skirt-stocking jokes, I didn’t know the latter had the joke tem absolute territory, so thanks for explaining that.
And dang it, stop drawing Yuki from angles that make me want to reach in and pat her. (Don’t actually stop though!)

I got the Celestial using an AT field. I was not familiar with the stocking term.

Someone has a thirteen hour minimum anime marathon in her future.
And now I’m reminded I need to go watch the revamp version of NGE. Ie the 1.0, 2.0, et al. Yeah, its not the same as the original, but I’ve never actually sat down to watch it.
I’m also oddly reminded of some rather lengthy NGE fanfics. Some were lemons at that! If you truly know what I mean, you’ve been around the internet for awhile!
