So is that a separate emergency number, or is that the requested contact information with a side dish of ‘you’re the local specialist, we’re the specialists for a larger and well known organization’?
Either way, mister specialist looks quite humbled.
In all fairness to the specialist, he’s probably counting on the fact that he does have the authority to send them back to their ship, but does not have the authority to sink it.
I bet the line has a message for when you’re calling and nobody is answering yet. Specifically, one that says “Whatever you were thinking of doing to that nerdy-looking guy with the glasses and the anomalous magic, don’t. If it wasn’t about him, please wait until someone answers.”
Question, how would his Null magic react to him drowning. Make him float, create a bubble of air, or since its an environmental effect would it not do anything?
the Null magic is weird early tests had actual bullets fired at him and the bullets being Thanosed but he could be grabed, be affected by flash bang grenades, and physically thrown thru walls with the wall just nopeing out of existance, being stranded out at sea no idea.
It’s both implied and stated (by Water herself) that the elements (probably including Life and Death) came together to create the power of the Null. If that’s the case, it may be that when his life is in danger in the water, the water will nope away, or the air in the water will form a bubble around him, or something. He’s a bit like Baldur, where Freya went out and made sure practically everything in the world promised not to harm him. The only thing that can harm him is something outside the system. A cosmic mistletoe, if you will. Or the vacuum of space, since it would be devoid of all the elements. Or straight up radiation.
She stopped her husband from reading that spirit’s existence, Wife of the year.
I think the ‘specialist’ just realized there job from the beginning was not in fact saving the hapless tourists, but the Suijin.
