Kate is apparently at her limit for dealing with interruptions to her honeymoon. While this may be true it’s missing all of the context about the Outsider trying to possess said friend and the friend being “acceptable losses”. Also it makes Phil seem a LOT more aggressive rather than “celestials kept charging while my husband’s passive defenses kept dissolving them”.
I’m sure she’ll fill in the context and properly explain things but glad to see Kate kept that petty/snarky element of her personality despite rubbing elbows with some of the highest tier terrestrial powers. I’m sure she’ll let Inari off the hook pretty quick because a) he’s potentially a future son-in-law of sorts (that is if I’m reading Yuki’s interest as being more than merely professional) and b) he earnestly apologized after his joke landed poorly, something that not many others have done.

Kate is DEFINITELY doing this on purpose. Making sure Inari knows she and Phil are not undefended, and that of the two of them, Phil is FAR more dangerous.

Curiosity killed the raised fox ears.
Well, at least Inari didn’t put their tails between their legs.

Heh, Kate putting Inari in his place! Though yes I will agree with others that context matters and Kate is leaving a few details out on purpose. But if Inari was thinking about doing anything to either Kate or Phil he’s rethinking it now!

Since Inari seems fairly competent and experienced overall, I would expect they have already spoken with the Suijin at this point. Inari may have considered water spirit’s rampant fear of Phil to be an overreaction until this moment. And hopefully key in the retelling of those events is how the exorcist “Insulted its mate” – the one that Inari just pranked. This is the look of a fox spirit realizing that in this particular game, they’re not the one in control of events and setting up pranks – but rather the one whose fate dances at someone else’s whims. It’s probably been a while since Inari felt this kind of fear, and hopefully humility. … The title ‘Inari’ is transferrable, right?
I was trying to find where Phil destroyed a group of Celestials. The segment I found was https://www.yoshsaga.com/comic/2527/ (22-july-2022) to https://www.yoshsaga.com/comic/2530/ (01-aug-2022). Yuki appears in the final page. However, this only had one Celestial and his robot. Could somebody point me to a better location.

This is the start of the assault and where Celestials started having a lot more to do with the group on Earth. Yuki replaced the previous celestial diplomat when the previous one joined on Earth to help the Twins.
Thanks. When I looked at that page and the following ones,I vaguely remembered it. I just have problems remembering the plot from ten years ago. By the way, when I tried to use the archive page, it took a long time because of all the images it had to extract from various files. You might want to consider to have a single image for all of the images for a period of time, and then use a map reference to go to the original of the page when you click on it. Save the on-line combining of images for the recent stuff. It wouldn’t be all that work intensive because you could start by parsing the HTML for archive page.
No idea how to do that, but we are looking into splitting up the archive by year or by every 100 pages or so that should make it a bit faster to search through. Currently it is using the default for the WordPress Comic Management System we have. I’m not sure how much it will let us modify.

“Yeah, they died futilely attacking him as he was nonchalantly killing a manifesting outsider, they were more of an annoyance really, did your mom tell you about outsiders?”
To be fair, he DID use the annihilated remains of the Celestials on the Outsider. So it’s not as if they weren’t of SOME use…

Oh man, the look on inari’s face!
I am betting he was NOT expecting kate to tell that he slaughtered a bunch celestials.
Look at his ears they’re drooping meaning he’s scared and now very fearful for his life
Now i wonder how close phil will be to him when he starts negating his magicks.

you don’t know that we can’t see his tail
Foxes and cats don’t generally get along so, I can see why she’d tell Inari a rather contextless version of events.
Factual correct I guess and yet…
Next page will have Phil walk up with a casual greeting with Inari jumping out of their skin.
And potentially naked. Remember, Phil and clothes made out of magic don’t mix.
Fair point
