Interesting thing here was that the shrine maiden could see it too. She likely has more than a little potential of her own.
I wonder, though, if the evil spirit was possessing another (like in the shrine she’s dedicated to)? If so, Phil could have a new, likely both thankful and wary, friend! Well, two. The shrine maiden is likely going to see something about him too.
