So with him wondering around shrines, he is going to break the seal on Tama no Mae isn’t he? Which I would assume is one of Yuki’s kids. Frankly shocked it wasn’t her here.
For Phil’s immediate purpose, that’s irrelevant. One touch with intent will clean up everything but the memory: The guy stops the Magi cold, a little insane spirit is wildly outclassed.
He may wish to know long term, but that cam wait until after the nastiness is done.
Don’t know if it was deliberately put onto her but her lil sis does say that she became sick after dealing with a curse. So maybe she, like her little sis, bit off more than she could handle and it propagated from there.

Huh, you know they’re calling in Yuki, but what about Emi? This is her turf right? And isn’t her family pretty knowledgeable about curses?
Their brand of teleportation is still slower than Yuki’s immediate presence, plus I think they’re trying to let the Magi and their Elements still grow used to being together.
“Yeah… No.” Pulls up yukata before it becomes a wardrobe malfunction
“Much better.”

Looks like the older sister ran afoul a Izanami somehow. The first thing I thought of when I saw her was “holy crap that’s a shikome” and it took me a second to realize that was her sister.
Fingers crossed that the transformation hasn’t taken enough that the changes apply when the curse is broken but Yuki is on call and should be able to help undo what ever residuals Phil’s abilities leave behind. Thankfully Phil’s abilities are shown to have an element of intelligence behind them so it should work with him to maximize benefit while minimizing side effects. Also because it kinda feels meaner than Sage is as an author to have a side character get horrifically mutated immediately on introduction unless there’s a lot more planned for this than I expect.
Shouldn’t be any issues, remember hen the magi were helping test the mechanics of his null abilities, earth magi made a hole and Phil’s powers unmade it in a manner that implied they just made the hole retroactively have never existed here he stepped.

I mean technically she broke out in 2022. She’s probably in hiding somewhere.
Wow that is kind of disturbing, good job Sage!
Would

Phil: Well kid when I found her your sister was looking rather ghastly. But once we took care of that curse she immediately started looking better!
so cursed object or someone inflicted this on her

Emi didn’t go with them to Japan; she’s not available to help immediately like Yuki is.
The Magi can teleport correct? Or actually call her on the phone and at least consult.

Honestly they need to call up on what’s his name to invent some Star Trek level teleportation to respond to stuff like this
Holy Crap, i don’t know where specifically but I’ve seen that monster before
Nope.
