Yuki’s idea of parenting might seem a touch out dated, but she is an old-time gal in a geological and mythical sense.
She is also a fox. Foxes aren’t shy with discipline for unruly kits.
That brings up an interesting question. Which came first, foxes or Yuki?
She is “the first snowfall”, right? That would have to predate fox evolution by millions of years.
But not predating evolution, since biology split from geology already 4.3-4.2 billion years ago, when the primordial ocean was still around 70 degree Celsius (and it was unlikely much of land existed). Life was no snowflake!
If not ice existed before, the first snowball Earth episode happened over 2 billion years ago. True foxes (Vulpes) evolved at least 7 million years ago according to fossil finds, which might make them the earliest Canidae in the Old World. [Wikipedia]
Also keep in mind that the snowfall in question is the snowfall as a phenomenon perceived by humans, not the objective meteorological phenomenon.

Magic is, at a fundamental level, fueled by belief/thought/awareness in this universe, the concept of “snowfall” didn’t mean anything before there was someone able to define it

Getting spanked by Yuki is probably a very narrow threat that works with her children. Everyone else will line up for spanking, if Demoness is a guide.

No, it’s a correct way to say it I believe. You certainly don’t say ‘a adult’ in place of ‘an adult’. Hey, I don’t get to point our corrections often! Give me this! XD
I’m not a native English speaker, but I want to give you that.
Since I had a hard time with the double negatives I asked Google, and it points out while the sentence is “mostly clear” and understandable that can be a problem. It also suggest direct statement for comic flow. Something like: “Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean I won’t spank you.” Google’s 2p, not mine, but after my confusion I’ll take that.
Hm. Still double negatives, but no longer widely separated, it seems to help. Or I’m just easily talked into suggestions …
The part I am saying is awkward is the “Don’t you think that”.
I am aware, but it is not a mistake and it does read correctly.
