Probably have to explain this one… Kate and Phil as Pai (Sanjiyan) and Yakumo Fujii respectively. Two characters from an older Anime from one of my favorite older anime/manga creators Yuzo Takada. They are from 3×3 Eyes, a dark supernatural fantasy anime about a 3 eyed girl that eats the soul of a man turning him into her immortal servant indicated by the mark on his head. That’s… probably not the best way to explain it. Cool stuff though! So – why them for Halloween? Just a fan and can be tough to get a chance to draw something that lets people know “Hey, I like this thing and want to share it with you!” That said, finding it digitally isn’t super easy. Someones probably put it on youtube or something but I really prefer like a streaming service or a digital movie rental/purchase to send people to to check it out. Oh and if you are wondering “How did Phil find this way back in the day?” Well the creator is the same person who made “All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku”. When searching the net 25 years ago, looking up “catgirl anime” only brought up a few results, and All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku- well, it’s in the title!

If you want something new though as a recommendation, last season Dr Stone started and is still going, highly recommended, and now this season, Ascendance of a Bookworm, which is heartwarming isekai that was so interesting to me I read all the manga… then I bought the light novels… Now I’m waiting for the next book. I’ve lost a lot of sleep over health issues, so I’ve filled that lost sleep time with reading time.
