It is a matter of perspective. Try squinting, It is a familiar feeling – things are less weird today.

Okay, it *is* weird (and disappointing) how the blanket happens to cover Kate at least as much as Phil. But as an image it captures the aftermath well, nicely done!

It has been a pretty long time since we’ve seen Kate’s shadow servant. The last thing I clearly recall of her is, “Yes, but she’s putting bacon *in* the pancakes! Is she a sorceress?”

Finally after 1260 regular story pages (since https://www.yoshsaga.com/comic/phantasmal-servant/) a tag for “Kate’s Shadow”. A full-on familiar? Neat!

Remember, she is emotionally linked to Kate, so she was going to get the play-by-play one way or another.

It is possible that she gets more than just the emotional feedback through that link too, we haven’t gotten a lot of information on how it works after all.

She does get more than just emotional feedback, as she could taste the breakfast Kate was eating through the link in one page. That said, after this Kate & her Familiar will likely have a talk, and somehow or another it will be discovered that the strength of the link can be toggled, even if only temporarily.

I must admit, I was secretly hoping for a few more pages between this one and the last. Oh well, at least they had fun 🙂

Aww, I was hoping we might get a few pages to let us get an idea of how it went.
