Looks like an old acquaintance has come calling…
Can’t become a deity and stay alive any length of time without picking up various ‘acquaintances’ along the way…
The literal embodiment of snow and the human medium embodying the capability to neutralise magic. They’re both actual forces of nature, even if completely different parts of it.

Somebody’s gonna get punched in the eye by Phil and end up worse off than Inari.
Nah, not by Phil. By Kate’s spells.
Now that I think about it, wasn’t Kate supposed to be a four element mage if she didn’t become a chimera ? So in a way, her magic would have been the natural equivalent of the Null, with it being made of the four elements too.
She was descended from a Great Sage, but her ancestor probably wasn’t a part of any of the Mage Families. They just learnt how to utilise magic in the way that anyone of those times could have done, even if they were far more capable than their peers. Think about having a greater breadth of possible skills in exchange for both a far lower power output and slightly reduced versatility within each skill.
if ya got a cell phone it should translate it just fine- or use google and a screenshot- that said, It’s not a bad word. Technically, not a word at all.

I can’t help hearing Jan Akiyama’s voice here.
I am sure that part of the reason Kate is with them is so she can protect Inari.
Ooo, Giant Eyeball! That just SCREAMS “Thick Rubber Band, and a Bobby-Pin.”
Twing SMACK!
Oh God you WHO WOULD ACTUALLY AhhhHhHh…..!
Which monster is that? I can’t stop thinking Kikimora
Careful random spirit, Inari is friends with those you really don’t want to tick off.
“Is it an enemy?”
“No, worse. An ex.”
“What’s the difference?” sitcom laugh track
‘Take this you-!’
‘No no, wait, that’s one of my siblings!’
‘…??’
‘…Mom had some weird hook ups.’
I can believe that. We’ve seen one…
I assume you don’t mean a certain horny blonde?
Uhoh, the smart ones know to wait…
Inari´s mom is just a teleport away, and she might be able to bring a friend.
I was going to say something about “one is an actual force of nature….”
…then I realized….that’s BOTH of them at this point, isn’t it?

I have a feeling that Inari just said a bad word.
Yes. Sage generally translates normal speech.
